Chelsea could have fairly taken the step to retire the No.11 shirt after Didier Drogba's departure from Stamford Bridge, given the Ivorian's contribution during eight years with the club.
However, little over a month after Drogba left Chelsea for Shanghai Shenhua, the club have already filled the shirt worn by the Blues legend by handing his number to new signing Oscar.
The Brazilian youngster joined Chelsea from Internacional for a fee of around £25 million, and will be tasked with the seemingly daunting prospect of following in the footsteps of one of the club's all-time greats.
